'i'iwi is the Hawaiian Honeycreeper endemic to Hawaii. It's scarlet colored plumage body alongside it's deep black wings and tail makes this bird unique and beautiful. Their downward curved orange bill is perfectly suited for sipping nectar from tubular flowers. If you ever have a chance to go into our native forests remember to listen for their distinct song.
